Zilbermanch (*) blabs about Angelina: Angelina moved between the eerily glowing house. I'm not going to get over the ring with Tolstoy. "the world would go before a great deal faster than it does.. . Watch: Mario Lopez Strips Down To His Underwear On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' -
Earlier this month, Mario Lopez HAPPILY showed off his Rated M new underwear line in the pages of The Advocate magazine. Yesterday, Mario happily showed off his undies on national television on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Now, don't get me wrong '¦ the photos we saw of Lopez in The Advocate were VERY n ...mycelebritynewsonline.blogspot.comPeanut Gallery:MANSOUR:The driver should still be fired. To H with the ADA and this loose interpretation of a disability. It's my life and I don't want some drunk driving 80K pounds to end it. Besides, OD has a reputation to defend and a legal responsibility to operate its equipment safely. It's a private company and can set its own criteria for employment.
Green Thumb:They didn't convict him of murder. They convicted him of manslaughter. Two people died as a result of his not operating his truck in a safe manner.
It won't change what happened. But maybe it will make others think about that before doing something so dangerous.
However, I don't hold him completely responsible. Outlawing five axle trucks on that road was a step in the right direction. But it wasn't in time to save those peoples lives.
XRumakTheBest:you know if the truck driver can get away, but here inWisconsin,if a truck driver kil ls you,it's only a $168 dollar fine, but if we kil l someone, here we come to prison, you know.
MANSOUR:I agree, something is seriously wrong with our justice system. We have murderers going free and this guy get over 7 years. It's wrong.
Ralph Lauren:The sentence is less than appropriate. I feel he should receive more. As a commercial driver, he should have conducted his daily safety inspections and corrected any deficiencies as per DOT Reg's and the Federal motor carrier safety regulations. By not doing that he opted to put the lives of those around him in grave jeopardy. Pouring water on a commercial break system does nothing but waste water. A 30 minute break to allow the brakes to cool down could have spared those people their lives. Not to mention proper breaking via the jake brake and the 10/2 method. For every 10 degrees of incline you down shift 2 gears. On top of that had he heeded the warnings by those that obviously knew better that accident would never had happened.
The only good thing out of this is, now that he has been involved in a commercial accident that resulted in a fatality. He will no longer be allowed to drive another commercial vehicle for the remainder of his life. He should have gotten at least 15 to 20 years for this act. Unfortunately I believe the only reason he didn't is because the state is under a U S Supreme court order to reduce the prison population. Personally I believe that if anyone that commits a crime that results in a death during the commission of or while evading law enforcement should result in life in prison or execution.
This non-professional driver (if he was a true professional he would have adhered to all safety regulations and took that firefighters advice.) deserves nothing less than life in prison. His victims get to spend eternity in the ground. With no hope of reprieve.
Shadow:Criminalizing this guy isn't going to bring these families loved ones back. Clearly this guy having to live with their deaths on his hands for the rest of his life should be enough. He made some very poor choices but it was an accident. Accidents happen. Are they going to start jailing and considering every accident is murder?
